Karl Otto Lagerfeld was a German creative director, fashion designer, artist and photographer who lived in Paris. He was best know as the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, from 1983 until his death, creative director of the Italian fashion house Fendi, and his own world renown fashion label. Mr. Lagerfeld was known for his bold designs and constant reinventions. Vogue hails him as the “unparalleled interpreter of the mood”.

With his high level of fame and notoriety he was also known to be somewhat controversial. Fat-Phobic , misogynist, rude, and maybe a little racist are all reported to be apart of the make up of this fashion giant. Recognized for his signature white hair, black and white attire, black sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and high starched detachable collars was the inspiration for my look (we know I love my black & white) The Fashion Icon’s death was announced the morning of February 19,2019 leaving the fashion world in a state of mourning. His genius creativity will be miss. As always please …….. comment and share this post, tell a friend or 2 or 3 lol.
